Did you learn to swim when you were a child? Why?

Yes, I learned when I was eight. My parents sent me to swimming lessons in the summer, because they thought it was an important skill for safety. At first, I was afraid of deep water, but after a few weeks, I loved it.

I'd like to talk about Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple. Even years after his death, he's still one of the most famous business people in the world.

Who he was

He was an American businessman. He was born in 1955 and died in 2011, when he was only fifty-six, from cancer.

His business

He started Apple with his friend Steve Wozniak in his parents' garage in 1976. Apple made personal computers, and later the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad, which changed the technology industry.

What you know about him

I know that he didn't finish university, and he was fired from his own company in 1985. But he came back twelve years later and made Apple one of the most valuable companies in the world. He was famous for his simple, beautiful designs and his presentations, but people also say he was very difficult to work with.

What you think of him

I admire his creativity and his focus on simple design. He showed that technology can be beautiful and easy to use. His famous speech at Stanford University, where he said 'Stay hungry, stay foolish', really inspired me. But I don't think I'd like to work for such a demanding boss!
